Cottoning on to cattle feed

Cotton seed consists of the oil bearing kernel, as well as a hard outer hull. Once the oil is extracted the de-oiled meal makes for an excellent ingredient in cattle feed. Our factory has de-oiled meal or pellets as a major by-product that is exported to South Africa as well as Europe. The pellets from the West African francophone region are considered to be of superior quality in the world market, as their aflatoxin and gossypol content is well within acceptable limits.
