FLUDOR BENIN SA was started with the commercial production of oil and De-oiled Cake (DOC) with cottonseed as raw material in May 2000. Subsequently, Fludor Benin developed into a major Oils & Fats platform in West Africa. The processing plant and other amenities that complement the plant are supplied by leading global companies and imbibe the latest technology.

Our state-of-the-art cashew processing factory opened in 2016 in the town of Zogbodomey, and accounts for at least 15% to the domestic cashew production in the Republic of Benin.

In addition to boosting Benin’s cashew sector, we are also driving economic growth by modelling best practices in social responsibility in the regions surrounding our processing facility. We are also strong advocates of women empowerment and encourage their participation in agricultural production, a point that is reflected in the fact that over 85% of those employed at our processing facility are women.
